Rapper Jude Abaga aka MI Abaga has described the concert by Davido‘s fans, the 30BG as one of the most purest forms of love expressions he has witnessed.
In November, to celebrate their idol who couldn’t mark his birthday as a result of his son’s demise, his fans decided to plan a concert in his honour.
The concert was rescheduled from November 25 to December 1 with the organisers explaining a lot of people suddenly expressed interest to buy into the event in order to make it a remarkable one.
The event tagged ‘Davido Fans Concert 2022’ at the Wonderland, Eko Energy City, Victoria Island Lagos, was truly a beautiful experience.
With Pepsi as one of its sponsors, the all-night celebration which was co-hosted by BBNaija’s Neo alongside Do2tun the hypeman witnessed several top Nigerian music artistes perform.
Among them were Zlatan Ibile, Mayorkun, Bella Shmurda, Peruzzi, MayD, Victor AD among others.
Upcoming acts were also not left out as they were given opportunity to express their love for Davido through their craft.
One of the highlights of the event was when the huge crowd paid respect to the singer’s late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke as a photo of him with his parents was displayed on the screen.
Seeing how massive the event of the night turned out, MI Abaga also now known as The Guy hailed the fans’ love for Davido who he described as a deserving and kind soul.
He said: “The @davido fans event is one of the most pure expressions of love I have seen. For a truly deserving and kind soul!
“I pray David feels all the love and light he has created in the world in this moment. Love and light.”
