The veteran Nollywood actress Rita Dominic goes by the full name Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturuocha-Anosike. She was born on the 12th of July 1975 into a Royal Family in Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State, South-Eastern part of Nigeria. She is the youngest sibling of four children, and her late parents were healthcare professionals; her father was a medical doctor, and her mother was a nursing officer.

After her primary education, Rita Dominic attended Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Shortly after completing her secondary education, she continued her studies at the University of Port Harcourt, where she earned her Theatre Arts degree in 1999. Since completing her degree in Theatre Arts, she’s been active in the Nigerian movie industry to date.

Currently, the actress is married to her husband, Fidelis Anosike, founder of Folio Media Group and owner of the subsidiary company, Daily Times Nigeria. The couple did their traditional marriage in April 2022, and the white wedding was held in London in November 2022.
