Just imagine a child dying as a result of hunger with no meal to bring him back to live. It is very sad to see but one thing also very tragical is a footballer unable to develop his God-given talent because of inadequate footballs to play. Football is One of the main tools that drives footballers and fans to the pitch and if such leather ball is not available it makes it difficult to train or play to suit the style and taste of the game. That is the reason why “One Play One Football ” is in arrival to curb.
One Player One Football (1P1F) is an initiative designed to raise funds to purchase football for young ones who’s talent is to play soccer. Nayan Soccer Academy is the mother of this great idea, the idea is intent to provide adequate footballs for each and every child that finds his or herself in any soccer pitch in Ghana through public donations and support.
” It took one and half year making research on how young players will develop with their talent. I went to villages for Scouting but what I found was all the players got the talent which is raw without even having access to football. Going forward I decide to bring this Idea to introduce to the kids on 1 football 1 player project so that at the age of 7 every player start to train with 1 football. It will not end there I will also give back to the community when I get more. I will visit other training grounds of other teams and donates this football to also support them with 1 player 1 football project and hoping to get it across the country.” This is how Coach Frimpong Oliver expressed his sincere compassion to the general public during the launch.
1 Player 1 football has target to distribute 500 footballs with the size 4/5 in which Ghc 150 is the cost of one ball.
In seeking the support of parents, guardians and all lovers of the game, there was a MTN momo number that is ready to accept any amount to project this dream or innovation to reality. In case you find interest in this project kindly pick the number of the flyer and call for clarifications and directions.
It is true that the Football Association is doing it’s possible best to solve this deficiency in the sector but this is also another great innovative opportunity for everyone to donate their quota to football development of Mother Ghana.
