Celebrated Sports journalist Saddick Adams has debunked claims that Ghanaian youths are lazy and unwilling to go the extra mile to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
For him, the claim is unfounded given that Ghanaian youth are in high demand in the West where they are willing to give off their best since they are paid wages commensurate with the amount of work they put in.
He stressed that if employers pretend to pay Ghanaian youths, they will also pretend to work.
“Ghanaians are NOT lazy. Ghanaian workers are highly sought after in organized countries.
I’ve seen Ghanaian youth diligently taking 3 jobs for 14 hours a day in the West. When you pay and treat them well, they work well. If you pretend to pay them, they’ll pretend to work,” he tweeted.
Saddick Adams’s tweets appear to be a direct response to claims by Kwadwo Safo ( CEO of Kantanka Motors) that Ghanaian youths are lazy.
